College Street has fed this neighbourhood for generations, from the espresso bars to the patios that spill out every summer. Ace Restaurant sits a couple of minutes north of the strip, on the main floor at the corner of Harbord and Manning (291 Harbord Street).

Come in any day for the souffle pancakes and a peameal benny, hold a table on the patio, and let the morning go long. We pour mimosas, caesars and Ace's sangria from 8:00am: weekdays until 2:00pm, weekends until 1:00pm.

It is an easy walk from anywhere on College: drop in after the farmers' tables, before a Lansdowne stroll, or whenever the morning calls for hollandaise.
